Following requests and demand from Foamotive customers in the automotive industry for increased level of sustainability, new raw materials with high content of post-consumer recycled (PCR) polyethylene foam, will now be an option for producing Foamotive seals, gaskets and other automotive parts. Palziv, Foamotive’s parent company and XLPE foam raw material supplier, has announced the success of recent trial runs, and the commercial availability of high PCR content XLPE foam blocks PA-30R. Foamotive has started using the material with excellent results, which enable us to expand our offer to include parts with high PCR content.
